The Book Mix
Is a fascinating book based on the theme of 'mixed children', Mix was created together with Koos Breukel, Morad Bouchakour,Venus Veldhoen, and Suzanne Liem. It will focus on children from mixed backgrounds in the Netherlands.
The book is a combination of texts from well-known writers and images from photographers who connect to this theme - for example by being of mixed backgrounds themselves.
Production is being lead by Project Leader Annemiek Beck under the support and guidance of Stichting Forum and publisher d' Jonge Hond.
I am pleased about how this project has developed, from my role as initiator, to my vision as photographer and finally in the capacity of production as the image editor!
